Does the direction of the wind determine any temperature difference on land??
I know how coastal areas are more windy due to air pressure than inland areas etc etc
But does the direction of the wind change anything??
It’s for my geog GCSE C/W Any help needed =]

What I remember from a meteorology course was that wind is one part of how warm one place is vs another. The geographic features contribute a great deal. Mountains prevent the prevailing winds from getting moisture over the Rockies and onto the Southwestern desert areas.
Jet streams are involved with moving air masses around. When the wind changes direction it’s because air masses are being influenced by all the things I already mentioned.
