i always thought storm was the best
she can just make a hurricane and she can fly too. wolverine wouldn’t be able to touch her. she’s just soar in the air hurling cars with winds at him. or whatever else she wanted to do. he’d be able to do nothing. none of them could. she’d win one on one with any x men if she executed the right plot. her flying ability’s plus weather control plus whatever else she has are too much to take. all you phonies pretending like wolverine can win in a fight are crazy. and gambit or cyclops or rogue or anyone else. maybe rogue on a bad day. because if i were storm i might wanna get some. but this is me not storm. we both have different opinons about what’s worth losing the fight. so anyways here ya. judge this question. but do not. i repeat.

I do agree that Storm’s powers are more impressive than Wolverine, the main thing about Wolverine is his healing ability.
He’s not the only one with healing or adamantium for that matter.

From the comics, my favorite was always Nightcrawler. I always liked the curious mix of personality traits — the swashbuckling adventurer with the quiet and devoutly religious side. He could be surprisingly deep and philosophical, particularly during the Chris Claremont days…

I’m primarily old school and always thought Iceman was a cool character(no pun intended) that just never got written well. But wolverine is just over used as far as I’m concerned. But I guess its whatever sells the books cause theirs a million Logan fans out there.

People like Wolverine not really for his adamantium claws, but because of what he does with them. He’s such a bad-ass, a pure instinctive fighter/killer. And he has the mutant healing factor, too (you’d have to agree, that IS a pretty nice thing to have). Yeah, in terms of powers and skills Storm is up a few notches, but in real head-to-head battle, there’s no one better than Logan. All of them have cool powers, there’s no one that’s cut out to be better than all the rest.
Imaging if Peter Petrelli or Sylar were in the Marvel world…no one would be able to stand a chance.

Wolverine is one of my favorites (cool and carefree). The others would be Rogue, Storm and Jubilee.

i agree that wolverine wouldn’t have much of a chance against storm, mainly because she can fly and he has no ranged attacks, but you shouldn’t sell the other x-men so short. what makes you think cyclops wouldn’t be able to beat her? his optic blasts are powerful enough to level a mountain, and if he wanted to shoot her all he would need to do is see her. rogue might also be able to beat her, and not just on storm’s ”bad day’s". she is easily strong enough to KO storm with a single punch, she can fly fast enough to keep up with her in the air, and if worse came to worse, she could steal her power. storm might be able to beat gambit, but one thing that many people have learned the hard way is that you should never underestimate that ragin’ cajun. storm might beat him but there’s no way he’d do down easy. also, you forgot about nightcrawler. all he’d have to do to beat storm is teleport right behind her and give her a nice solid punch to the back of the head, and it would be instant lights out for the weather witch. also, iceman would be tough for her to beat. andy blizzard she created would just make him stronger, and his ice armor would give him insulation against her lightning. and any telepath (like Jean Grey, Psylocke, Cable, ect…) would alse give her a heck of a lot of trouble since her powers don’t give her any sort of protection against mental attacks.
i do agree with you that storm is an incredibly powerful member of the x-men, and she would have good chances of beating a lot of them in a one-on-one fight. but i think you are selling some of the other x-men a bit short.
