Why my DIY solar panel not work?

i connect 6v solar panel wit my nokia charging pin and try to charge my fone but it do not work…. i connect solar panel +Ve and -Ve to my pin …. i not use any circuit…. so tell me how to start work….

Most likely, your phone needs more current than the panel can provide. If it is normally charged from USB, it might draw 500 mA or so. Make sure that your panel can provide that. You can test it with a digital multimeter.
