I am buying a computer kit, to build a custom computer, and I have a basic understanding of computer structure and components, (what they do, where they go) but, when it comes to the very technical things, I haven’t a clue. I have looked inside my computer several times, and it doesn’t seem too complicated, everything seems to snap or screw in. (I have upgraded memory, etc) And I was wondering, what are the odds that I could cannibalize components off of the PC I am currently on, and complete the kit. (It is missing minor parts like SATA cables, a CD/DVD drive) The current PC I have was awesome back in 2006, but since then, it has lost a lot of fire power. Also, what does
"Bare Drive" mean when it comes to HDDs? I know it doesn’t come with SATA cables, but what about BIOS? sorry if I have been long winded, I am in a good mood!

Things that are always useful between builds… Cables, CD/DVD drives, Fans, card readers, HDDs, cases, some PCI / PCIe add on cards (video, usb, serial), even Power Supplies to a point. Bare Drive is just that, the HDD and nothing else, chances are it is not even formatted to any particular FS, and no HDD comes with an OS installed. BIOS is firmware that is embedded in your motherboard, only flash that if you are having hardware compatibility issues… flub that up and you are SOL, you would need a new MOBO at that point. Ram is usually not a carry-over from one build to the next… generally in that time frame there has been a form change that renders the older ram module useless for newer MOBO’s.

Once the power is converted to alternating current and its phase is synchronized with that of the grid, solar panel energy is then tied in to your main junction box, which is ultimately interconnected to the grid.
