callumwk – the flux pen sticks the solder to the metal. With out the flux, the solder sometimes just rolls off the metal.

i found a trick with the solder gun,you got to file the tip down a little with a file as you go ,get the old solder off the tip off your solder iron.

solar systems are a scam if you can’t build the panels your self. systems cost so much it will take you 20 to 30 years to pay off the system. your better off pay your mortgage and saving intrest you pay the bank. and the tax credit are bs. is the gov really giving you money or just saving you taxes.

Just a couple q’s, how do you link it to your home so that excess power can make the meter go backwards (if there is enough energy)?
If i got a power source and hooked it up to an inverter thing and i still have my home on the grid, do i need batteries?

you will need 75 …
you will need 75 watt solder iron or 150 watt, im using a 75 watt solder iron and it takes some time to heat up,i might get the 200 t0 300 watt solder iron,just to have less waiting time to heat up the solder iron.
