Yes, your transformers will be important if they can help with grid waste. That’s why I believe in the rooftop wind turbines and hybrid solar systems is that so much electricity is wasted on the grid, simply lost. It doesn’t matter how the power is made, if 7% goes up in smoke, the grid itself is the problem to solve. If I make my own, I don’t waste as much on the grid. My system is wired to 2%.
